i printed out the versions george inverted, cut them out and stuck them to my back above the cross, then wiggled around in front of a mirror for a while. then i sent the frontrunner (#6) to sindri at the tattoo parlor for icelandifying; he felt strongly about making it a bit simpler so that it would age well. he's seen more tattoos than i have, so i concurred.

How did you choose, in the end?

well done, LMO and sindri.
also, photographer. (LMO again?)
thanks! yeah, me before work this morning. end-of-the-arm for the win!
fantastic choice, L. i would expect nothing less.
Excellent collaboration - always trust your tattoist (or you probably shouldn't be doing it).
Your new tattoo is the toast of two continents! (I’m saying a nice “Search & Destroy” at the shoulders should be next up but no rush.)
how'd you know this has all been a slow build to rollins?
